A $100 Deposit is required to confirm a booking. A invoice will be sent upon booking and will have 48hrs to pay the deposit unless prior arrangements were made.

Birthday Party FAQs
What ages are birthday parties best for?
Our farm parties are perfect for kids ages 1–99. We tailor the experience based on your child’s age and interests, and our calm, relaxed environment is especially great for children with sensory sensitivities or special needs.
How long is the party?
Parties are approximately 2–3 hours, giving plenty of time for animal encounters, games, activities, and cake!
How many guests can attend?
Up to 50 guests (15 kids and 35 adults) are included with every party. Contact us if you’re expecting a larger group.
What animals will the kids meet?
Kids will interact with a variety of friendly farm animals including alpacas, bunnies, pigs, tortoises, reptiles, exotics and more. Our staff guides all animal encounters to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
What’s the difference between Barnyard Bash and Ultimate Critter Adventure?
Barnyard Bash ($300) gives you full farm access, animal encounters, and 3 hours of fun. Ultimate Critter Adventure ($450) is our all-inclusive, stress-free option — we handle set-up, clean-up, decorations, cake, drinks, and a special take-home surprise for the birthday child (ultimate value of pkg is over $1000).
Can we bring our own food or cake?
Yes! For Barnyard Bash, you’re welcome to bring your own food, cake, and drinks. Ultimate Critter Adventure includes a farm-themed cake and drinks, but you can add your own items too.
What happens if it rains?
We have covered areas and a sensory room available. If severe weather forces a cancellation, we’ll work with you to reschedule at no extra charge.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a $100 deposit is required to secure your date. Full details are provided when you book.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand plans change. But we book the date just for you, so we can reschedule up to 7 days for severe weather. There will be no refund of deposit, but we will make all attempts possible to reschedule for medical, or other emergencies with proper notice.
How does “Book One, Give One” work?
When you book a birthday party at Cahaba Critters, we provide a free birthday party experience for a local child in foster care. We coordinate these parties through partner agencies, and your booking — along with community assistance.
Do you accomadate children with special needs?
Absolutely. Cahaba Critters was founded to serve children with autism, developmental delays, PTSD, and those in foster care. We offer a relaxed atmosphere, access to a sensory room, and staff who understand each child is unique.
Where are you located?
We’re at 8531 Montevallo Road, Centreville, Alabama — easy to find and plenty of parking. 45 minutes from Hoover, Tuscaloosa or Prattville… We are the center to your party.
